PRIVATE KRAV MAGA SELF DEFENCE TRAINING IN AUCKLAND

We offer private Krav Maga training for individuals who are unable to join our club for the regular group classes, and Self Defence courses for organised groups, outside our club training hours.

Personal training for individuals is generally available by appointment Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays, between 10am and 3pm, subject to our availability on preferred days/times of the week. These sessions are held in Kingsland, a walking distance from Eden Park, which may be more convenient to get to during the day. Private classes are generally 1 hour in duration and they are tailored to each person's individual requirements that we discuss at the time the appointment is confirmed.

Private training might be more suitable than classes in some instances, for example when a person doesn't feel comfortable to start training in a group environment for whatever reason, when a club member wants to speed up the progress they're making during the classes by taking an odd one-on-one session with an instructor, when person can't attend our regular classes due to commitments in the evenings when we train or simply prefer training during the day.

Not every request for individual personal training is accepted though, as it is very important to us that we not only provide a top level, ethical training, but also that person wanting personal training is capable of receiving what we offer. For example, someone who never trained wants a one-off session to show them 'some knife defences', a person just wanting only few classes to see 'what Krav Maga is about', or someone wanting to buy a 'single class voucher' as a Christmas present to their partner. In some of those cases, we direct people to attend our Krav Maga Basics introductory course first, so that at least they have some understanding of Krav Maga before embarking on personal training. As is the case with club training, you need to be able to start right away, should have a goal to work towards and finally the commitment and discipline to accomplish proficiency through the personal training. In other words, unless you are willing to ensure consistent attendance over a period of time, achieving proficiency will remain elusive.

To request a private Krav Maga training session send us a message from our contact page with a brief summary of your self defence training requirements, times and days you are able to make it to training and best time to call. Our instructor will call you to introduce himself and talk you through how training is conducted and answer any questions you may have, as well as evaluate whether our training would be suitable for your individual circumstances or not. Alternatively, if you have a Facebook account, you can click on the below button to take you our Krav Maga Auckland page, where you can request the booking for a particular date and time. As when contacting us through the website contact form, please provide relevant details so that our instructor can get in touch and discuss your training needs before confirming the booking. Please note that we do not respond to requests made 'on behalf' of someone, as this completely removes the intended recipient from the loop, and we are unable to evaluate suitability and appropriateness of our training to their personal circumstances.

Private Training

Group private training at your own premises is also available by appointment Mondays to Thursdays, between 10am and 3pm, and Fridays between 10am and 8pm, excluding public holidays subject to our availability on preferred days/times of the week. A definition of organised group in context of our private Krav Maga Self Defence training is a group of people associated with legally registered entity where all the negotiations are handled by a single person authorised to make operational and financial decisions about the private training the organisation is interested in. Such organisation may be a government department, company, school, university, charity etc. We've delivered a number of courses over the years to such customers at their own premises, and know that single point of contact of sufficient seniority is absolutely necessary to ensure a successful private training event.

If your organisation is interested in such training, message us from our contact page with a brief summary of your self defence training requirements, times and days you'd like us to provide this training, number of people that would attend, description of premises designated for training, whether there would be a reserved visitor parking available during our visit for ease of brining our equipment with us, your budget, and best time to call you, and our instructor will get in touch with you to introduce himself and talk you through the training options that may fit your requirements.
